According to mathematician Gonzalo Ciruelos and geo-statistician David Barry, Sierra Leone is the world’s roundest country, while Egypt is the squarest.
The two came up with equations separately that can calculate a country’s rectangular-ness or roundness defined by a number between 0 and 1 with 1 being a perfect rectangle or round.
